Successful Upgrade of Heating and Electrical Systems
We recently completed a major electrical project that involved upgrading the heating and distribution systems within a large residential site. The works included removing outdated storage heaters and replacing them with modern, energy-efficient panel heaters, all fully integrated with digital controls for ease of use.
Our team also carried out upgrades to mains distribution equipment, consumer units, and containment systems, ensuring the installation was compliant with the latest IET Wiring Regulations. All redundant wiring was removed, new cabling installed neatly, and safety enhancements such as surge protection were added throughout.
A key part of the project was delivering the works with minimal disruption. Careful planning and coordination with on-site staff meant that residents were never left without essential services for long periods, and our engineers made sure all work areas were kept clean and safe at every stage.
The final outcome was extremely well received. The new panel heaters offer far better control, efficiency, and comfort compared to the old system, and the staff were delighted with the improvements.
This project is a great example of how we deliver large-scale electrical upgrades: safely, efficiently, and with the end-users in mind.
